Fetal Bovine Serum, US Origin, Qualified for Mesenchymal Stem Cells
Each lot of FBS that is Qualified for Mesenchymal Stem Cells, US Origin has been screened by growing human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) over a minimum of 3 subculture generations with 10 percent serum. Human MSC’s are evaluated on cell count, expansion and morphology. MSC’s are phenotypically assayed by flow cytometry. FBS is tested in parallel with a control lot which has been demonstrated to support the growth of hMSC.
