Product Overview
Streptomycin Sulfate is an aminocyclitol glycoside antibiotic effective against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Streptomycin Sulfate is commonly used as a supplement to cell culture media to control bacterial contamination, either independently or in combination with other antibiotics, such as penicillin.
Streptomycin Sulfate inhibits prokaryotic protein synthesis.
